About Us

Hi, I’m Susan Woolford (nee Parnell), your host at Black Jack Get-A-Way. As a fifth-generation descendant of Orroroo’s pioneering Parnell family, I’m passionate about sharing the beauty, history, and warmth of this incredible region. Since starting with one bed and breakfast in 2001, we’ve grown to include four delightful cottages and the Blacksmith’s Chatter, our seminar and function centre.
